So, first I wash my face with a cleanser and I exfoliate with Ella Bache Gommage Délicat.
Why Exfoliate?
It is the essential process before applying any mask as exfoliate helps remove any dry and dead skin cells on the surface of the skin that cleanser can not remove.
So, by removing dry and dead skin cells, when applying mask it helps new fresh skin to absorb all the good nutritions and benefit of the product on the mask and allowing the product to work as how it suppose to work.
Skipping Exfoliating Process
If exfoliating process is not done, dead skins and dry skins are not remove, the mask / serum or product will just sit on the surface of the skin and the skin will not be able to absorb any of the benefit hence resulting in a lot of confusion that products are not working and a waste of money!
So, exfoliate before applying any of the mask! Any exfoliator can be use, here I am just using my Ella Bache Gommage Delicat.
This product is such a beautiful product that I do not need to spend a lot of time on it.
After applying, just leave it for 10 minutes and the product will harder on the face, I will then wipe it off with a sponge.
Here I am using the Cellulose Sponge from manicare, I got this from Myers Bourke Street, Melbourne Australia.
I have very dry skin during winter time and while it is Autumn here in Melbourne and I really feel that my skin needs a little more hydration before it hits Cold winter and after using this mask, my skin does not feel tight, but just soft, moist and clean. I think it does brighten my skin too!!
Okay, so after applying the mask, Yen from Jurlique Myers Bourke Street recommend me to use this Face Oil. Through my understanding after she explain to me is that the molecules in oil form are much smaller then serum and/or moisturisers hence this product will slowly be absorbed into my skin and help with dryness and because it is high in antioxidant it helps protect the skin.
What I absolutely love is that it does not contain harmful chemical to the body in a long run and ingredients are made 100% natural botanical essential oil!!
At one use, I absolutely can see results that is after applying this at 5 drops by skin just absorb all the product, even the skin on my hands are getting the benefit of it. It does not feel oily or sticky or heavy.
The smell of it is soothing and not overpowering at all, it does not irritate me. It actually smells like baby!! ^_^
So, nights where I do my "mini home facial" I will just apply this oil as my moisturiser.
So, I will use this product say every 2 or 3 days, and I am curious to see how long will it take me to finish the product and will I actually repurchase it. I am eager to see the results down the track.
Skin Care for Brides-to-be
